Feeding in a carrier is one of the most common questions professionals get — and one of the most nuanced skills to support. This pop-up workshop is designed for CBWS Foundations graduates who want to deepen their understanding and gain practical tools for working with families around feeding while babywearing.
We’ll walk through feeding in a variety of carriers and discuss how to talk about this skill in ways that are grounded in safety, consent, and real-world expectations.
What We’ll Cover
– Feeding in a wrap, ring sling, soft structured carrier, or halfbuckle
– How to recognize when feeding in a carrier may or may not be a good fit
– Adjustments and troubleshooting for real-life use
– How to support families without pressure or perfection
What to Bring
- A wrap, ring sling, soft structured carrier, or halfbuckle
- A demo doll or something baby-sized (weighted if possible)
No prep is needed. Just bring what you have — we’ll explore from there.
